A few months ago a friend of mine and talented makeup artist I frequently work with returned from Paris after studying under Makeup Artist Eny Whitehead for a few weeks. That friend is the very talented and hard working Kellie Thomson. After a few weeks went by i worked with Kellie on a shoot and she informed me that she has been talking with Eny and would be bringing her to Cleveland to teach a 3 day Master Class. After a few more times talking with Kellie about being a part of the class by shooting behind the scenes, the day finally arrived. Only being able to attend for a day and a half, I was honored and excited to be a part of it all and to have the chance to meet the astonishingly talented and incredibly kind and humble Eny Whitehead.
As i weaved around grabbing the shots from every angle imaginable, Watching Eny work and listening to her talk about her approach to her craft was endlessly inspiring! After a few long weeks of working/photographing commercial jobs, It was the creative burst i needed to re-fuel my clawing need to create artistic fashion photographs, my true passion. Having the opportunity to sit down with Eny after the workshop and just talk with her, about life, the fashion industry, Paris and working in Paris, art, passion.... It is a moment that was much needed and a moment i will forever be grateful to have experienced.
I just want to say a HUGE thank you to both Kellie and Eny for bringing this experience here for everyone involved! and make sure to check out the photos and everyones work/profiles all listed below!
